Copyright CMCMA 2018
As most of you now know the CMCMA after 40 years will be wound up and will cease to exist after the 30th April 2018.
In recent years the role of the CMCMA has changed as the organising clubs take control of the marshalling activities at Oulton Park and we are no longer permitted to allocate Sector Marshals and determine how teams are built up.
In simple terms the CMCMA is being used by visiting clubs as a postal service and little else. In addition the number of Marshals on the Association mailing list has dropped dramatically from over 300 to the mid 80’s and even less have joined the CMCMA.
I am certain some of us will still wish to Marshal at Oulton Park and if you have not already contacted the clubs directly from the details that Graham sent out to you, or indicated you are happy for us to send your details to the clubs, you need to do so. Due to changes in the Data protection legislation (GDPR) the CMCMA will have to delete any information we may have on you and we cannot pass this on to clubs without your written permission,.
If there are links to the clubs on the Links page.
This website will be shut down later in the year so it is a sad farewell from here but I hope to see most of you at Aintree, Three Sisters, Anglesey or Tonfanau.
On Saturday 28th April at the Wirral 100 meeting at Oulton Park the Wirral 100 Chief Marshal Dave Edwards presented a Trophy to mark Graham Douglas’s 22 years as the Chairman and CMCMA Chief Marshal on his last day as Chief Marshal for the CMCMA
